Real Estate Broker License » Time to Complete
The California Department of Real Estate (DRE) allows a course to be completed in a minimum time of 2 1/2 weeks (18 calendar days) from the date you have access to your online material. The maximum time allowed for completion of your course(s) is 1 year from the date of enrollment. Completion of the course means taking and passing the course final examination on or before the expiration date of the course. Courses may be completed within the time frames listed below:

After you have successfully completed the eight (8) required courses and met DRE broker qualifications, you will be ready to apply for the California real estate broker license exam. The real estate broker exam is administered at several locations throughout the state (Oakland, Sacramento, Fresno, Los Angeles, and San Diego). The real estate broker exam consists of 200 multiple choice questions. You must score 75% or better to pass.
